About the role

Join a leading educational organization as a Project Manager. You will drive the delivery of complex technology initiatives, working closely with enterprise architects, technical teams, and vendors to ensure successful implementation and adoption of solutions. The Project Manager maintains delivery governance, financial oversight, vendor coordination and transparent reporting across the full project lifecycle.

You will apply structured delivery approaches including Agile, Waterfall and hybrid methodologies, while supporting collaborative practices such as human centred design where appropriate. The role leads delivery teams to ensure outcomes are achieved efficiently, risks are actively managed and project objectives are realised across a range of technology initiatives within the portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery: Lead end-to-end delivery of business and technology solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget whilst delivering targeted outcomes.
  • Planning, Scheduling & Governance: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation. Maintain compliance with organizational governance and delivery standards using Project management tools.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage communication with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors. Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and issues.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Implement contingency plans and escalate critical issues promptly.
  • Scope & Dependency Management: Effective management of scope & cross project dependencies to ensure project outcomes are delivered.
  • Financial Management: Monitor project budgets and control costs. Prepare accurate financial forecasts and align with Portfolio reporting practices
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. Foster collaboration and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Capture lessons learned and apply best practices. Recommend process improvements for future cloud initiatives.

Skills & Experience (3 – 8 years):

  • Proven Project Delivery Experience: Demonstrated experience delivering complex strategic projects. Proven ability to manage projects from initiation to closure while meeting scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Project Planning and Schedule Management: Strong capability in developing and managing detailed project plans using Microsoft Project. Experience in schedule development, resource planning, critical path analysis, and tracking delivery progress across multiple workstreams.
  • Technology and Platform Awareness: Practical understanding of enterprise technology environments, specifically as related to the management of the Data lifecycle in a complex organisation. Experience in implementation of AI frameworks and governance models is highly desirable.
  • Stakeholder and Vendor Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to engage and influence business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and leadership. Ability to present delivery updates, manage expectations, and maintain effective collaboration across complex programs.
  • Risk, Issue, and Dependency Management: Proven capability to identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies across multiple projects and delivery streams. Ability to implement mitigation strategies and maintain delivery momentum in complex environments.
  • Technical expertise: Working accross Data Migration, Data Modeling setup, Integrations.
