We’re partnering with a global consumer wellness business who are building out a brand-new, AI-enabled content studio here in Australia.

This is a chance to be part of a modern, in-house content engine designed for speed, scale and experimentation – producing high-quality creative across social, digital and e-commerce touchpoints for a portfolio of well-known brands.

They’re now looking for a hands-on Art Director who can lead from the front – setting the visual standard while still being close enough to the work to execute.

The role

You’ll be responsible for shaping the visual direction of the studio, while working closely with copywriters, studio leads and brand teams to deliver high-volume, high-quality content at pace.

You’ll sit at the intersection of:

  • Creative direction
  • Motion and digital design
  • AI-enabled content production

…and play a key role in defining how modern content gets made.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading the visual direction across social, digital and e-commerce content
  • Taking ideas from concept through to execution, ensuring strong craft and consistency
  • Setting and maintaining visual standards across multiple brands
  • Mentoring and guiding designers within the studio
  • Partnering with copywriters and stakeholders to bring ideas to life
  • Exploring and embedding GenAI tools into the creative process
  • Developing new workflows that improve speed, output and experimentation
  • Staying close to emerging AI tools and applying them in a practical, production environment

What they’re looking for

  • 7+ years experience across agencies, studios or in-house teams
  • A strong portfolio of digital, social and motion-led work
  • Someone who can think conceptually but also execute
  • Advanced skills across Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop)
  • Experience working with (or a genuine interest in) generative AI tools
  • Comfortable mentoring others and influencing creative output
  • Strong understanding of social-first content and modern digital ecosystems
  • Someone who enjoys working at pace and building things from the ground up

Why this role?

  • Be part of a brand-new studio build in Australia
  • Work on a portfolio of globally recognised consumer brands
  • Help shape how AI is used in real-world creative production
  • Join a business investing heavily in in-house capability and innovation
  • Brisbane-based team with a strong focus on collaboration

The important bit

This role will suit someone who:

  • Enjoys being hands-on
  • Likes working in fast-moving, high-output environments
  • Is curious about AI and how it can enhance creative workflows
  • Wants to help build something, not just inherit it

If this sounds like you (or someone you know), apply now or reach out to Dave Bramley for a confidential chat.
